La Petite Academy provides an breakfast club and after school club to three local schools. Your child will be taken to or collected from the school by a qualified nursery practitioner who holds a Paediatric First Aid Certificate. All children wear a high visibility vest with the name of the nursery on.
School children who come to nursery have the opportunity to access lots of free choice activities including: playing musical instruments, a Nintendo Wii, DVD player, TV, portable stereo, board games, creative activities including cooking, science experiments and other stimulating activities suitable for children of school age.
The children are provided with breakfast/light tea from the nursery menu and all dietary requirements are catered for.
There is also the opportunity to complete homework, however we find that most children love the opportunity to relax after a hard day at school and often just love to play outdoors in our nursery garden where we have skipping ropes, hoops, ball games and team games.
During school holidays we operate a holiday club. We plan a range of fun trips in the local area, together with games and activities back at the nursery.
Spaces for the holidays are limited and early booking is strongly advised. Children who attend our Breakfast Club/After-school club are given priority.
